Who is the Husband of Goddess Durga?

Durga Ji wears sindoor; according to Hindu tradition sindoor is worn by a married female; it is symbolic of female being ‘suhagan’. It is the religious practice amongst Hindu devotees to offer ‘suhag’ to goddess Durga during worship but the reality is quite a large number of devotees do not know who is the husband of Durga?

It is mentioned ‘Many consider the Acharya Bhavani to be the fulfiller of all wishes. She is known as Prakriti and has an inseparable relationship with Brahm’.

Addressing Durga as Bhavani the above verse mentions that Kaal is her (Durga's) husband who is addressed as Param Purush. Both of them live together and have an inseparable relation.

‘You (Durga) are always procreating (reproduction by copulation) with your husband purush i.e. Kaal God. Nobody knows your state’.

Lord Brahma asks Maa Durga –

Ekameva dwitiyM yat Brahm veda vadanti vae Sa kiM tvam vaaapyasau va kiM sandehM vinivartay

‘The one, who has been called as unequaled only one Purna Brahm in the Vedas, is that you only or is it someone else? Dispel this doubt of mine.

To this Durga Ji replies to Lord Brahma –

Devyuvaach sadaektvaM na bhedosti sarvdaev mamaasya ch||
yosau saahamahM yosau bhedosti mativibhrmaat ||2||

‘What he is, I am; what I am, he is. Because of mental confusion, a difference is perceived’

Further, in Durga Puran Goddess Durga tells to worship this Brahm-Kaal itself because he is above Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva and that those who have not understood these Vedas and Puranas they continue to worship Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva and Durga, whereas Supreme God is someone else.

Durga says - My body is said to be like a beautiful cloth; God Brahm is said to have a material body.

Reference is in Kabir Sagar as well in the creation of the universe which clarifies that Kaal/Brahm is married to Durga, they live as husband-wife and do all creations in twenty-one brahamands of this Kshar Purush/Brahm.

All evidence prove that Kaal (Brahm/Kshar Purush) is the husband of Durga. Both are in form in material bodies.
